What is VoIP? It's an acronym that stands for "voice over internet protocol". It's a new way of connecting voice calls using IP networks or other packet - switched networks. Converts voice data into digital data which could then be transmitted through the internet. This system of telecommunication is gaining popularity over traditional phone lines because of its cost effectiveness. You can do voice calls to anywhere the internet is available.
