Asterisk Vulnerability

Blogs and other sites spread the word about the posible problems could arise due to the vulnerability of Asterisk systems that may cause denial of service (DoS)

According to Secunia, the vulnerability is caused due to improper verification of ACK responsed during IAX2 handshakes which could be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS.

Digium have released an advisory about the issue and at the same time created solutions to avoid these potential problems that could happen
