David Sugar is involved in working out secure communications with the GNU Telephony Secure Calling Initiative. There is great alarm world-wide over the interception of voice messages. David is getting ready to avoid passive telephone communications intercept devices. The result is the GNU SIP Witch system. At the 4th. International Free Knowledge Conference a ZRTD enabled client (Twinkle softphone) was created enabling secure telephone conversation. David discusses the use of servers in this system. He is ready to attend the LinuxCon 2009 next month.
